FINAL REFLECTION FOR WORLD LITERATURE 2020-2021

 

       From the beginning, this course has been different from other courses I’ve taken because of how understanding you are as a teacher and open you are to your students and what they have to say. This course is also different because of the blog and how this is a new experience for most of this year’s students. Looking back on our experience together, what I found most meaningful was how accepting you were to our opinions and our thoughts in class.  As I consider the work I’ve done, the work I am the proudest of  is the work I have done in algebra 2 because for me personally Algebra 2 was hard for me because I work better in person and if I ever have a question I could’ve just raised my hand and my teacher would help me but now with online school I have to send an email and wait for my teacher to respond and try to explain to me on how to do the problem. If could have done something differently I would have posted more on my blog and taken Honors English more seriously because I do not feel accomplished in this class, because I slacked off, I would have also not procrastinated on assignments because they caused me stress and worry about not being able to pass my classes. Looking forward, what I learned from this course that will help me in the future was to always listen to people’s opinion even if you don’t agree with each other and I should always wait and listen before I talk because some people may be offended because so many people don’t think before they talk because they can’t wait to let the other person finish before they jump in and interrupt. Some texts I have read are Percy Jackson the Last Olympian by Rick Riordan because of the Myth and how the book is designed with mythological beast and gods. A second text I have read is the outsiders written by S.E Hinton because of the mood and how it made me feel reading the book as well as watching the movie. Third text I have read is Le Mis by Victor Hugo because of denotation because of how much it relates to how the world work now in the present time. In conclusion, I feel like I have done good in school this year especially because of how this year worked out on online school but of course, I could always improve with my working habits.
